Below you will find some of the frequently asked questions that we receive, along with our answers:
How long do we have the bouncy castle and/or bouncy slide for?
We schedule our deliveries for between 8am and 12am, and then we will aim to pick them up between 5pm and 7pm
Do we have to pay a deposit?
A deposit is required when booking in advance.
Are we insured?
Yes, we have public liability insurance covering accidents and injuries caused by our equipment failing or incorrect or unsafe installation.
How much room does the bouncy castle require?
This really depends on which of our inflatable’s you have hired. However, as a general ‘rule of thumb’ they require at least 4 foot behind the castle and 3 foot either side of the castle, and in an ideal world at least 6 foot all around especially the front.
What happens if it is raining when you deliver the bouncy castle and/or bouncy slide?
A number of our inflatable’s are available with shower covers, and that is all they are meant to be. If the weather is not too bad, we will erect the inflatable, but they are not to be used if it gets too wet as it can be very dangerous. If it is very wet and/or windy on the day of your hire, you may cancel prior to delivery if you wish, without charge.
Do you deliver, and if so, how much do you charge?
Yes, we do deliver. Delivery is included in the price within a 15 mile radius from Witham, we will quote you for other distances.
What does it cost me to run the bouncy castle and/or bouncy slide?
On average, it costs about £1.50 to run a bouncy castle or bouncy slide for the day.
How clean are your castles?
Very Clean! We clean our inflatables thoroughly after each and every hire.
Do you provide safety mats?
Yes safety mats are provided with all Bouncy Castles and other inflatable items where appropriate.
What time will it be set up?
A typical delivery time is between 8am and 12 midday.
What time will it be collected?
Again this depends on the timing of your event and if you have booked over night. A typical collection time is between 5pm and 7pm although if you have booked and paid for overnight, collection will be before 11am the following day
How many children are allowed on at once?
This depends on the size of the castle and the age of children using the Bouncy Castle. Recommended number and height of users are written on the front step of the equipment when they are tested.
Is your equipment safe?
Yes, all of our inflatables are tested each year to ensure that they reach strict safety standards. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested each year.
When it’s hot can I put water on the slide?
No! Slides, water and electricity definitely do not mix. Even when it appears the slide is dry at the end of the day after water has been put on, the water is still there. This make the slide heavier and can take several days to dry.
How are the inflatables secured down to stop them moving?
All our inflatables are pegged to the ground, typically we peg in four places for a small (10′ x 10′) Bouncy Castle.
Is VAT applicable or included to the prices on the site?
Being a small business VAT is not applicable and so the prices you see on the website are the prices you pay.
